Pictures of the weekend

To start off our weekend, we got a short visit from Nana, Papaw, and Hallie's Great, Great Grandmother. Mamaw is so amazing that she is almost 90, blind as a bat, but is still by far the best cook in the family. Her chicken & dumplings are legendary.

Korbin is the best big brother in the whole world. The hardest part of the weekend for Hallie is waking up earlier than KoKo. If I'm not watching her close enough she will go to his door and start banging on it yelling for KoKo to wake up and play.

Yuck, I hate pictures of myself, but Mikayla looks so cute I had to put it on here so everyone can see how beautiful she is. She was sweet enough to go to the General Women's Broadcast with me on Saturday night, and sadly we laughed more than we listened. My favorite of the night was when I was talking about the many pieces of pie that I sampled at the social beforehand, and I said that I wasn't crazy about one of them. Mikayla then said, "Well you sure finished it." Very true, I laughed the rest of the way home; maybe that burned off a few of those calories.

Here's my sweetie again with her bootboot. I think she calls it that in an attempt to make a horn sound. She is absolutely a joy to have in my life, but gets more spoiled with every visit from her siblings and grandparents.
I laughed when I came home today and saw how Brandon had rigged Hallie's car. Leave it to us to find a way to make exercise a little less strenuous. Please believe I will be using this cord too the next time I take her out, ghetto or not.
